Giving is a form of worship, and Benediction Church is 100% funded by free will donations of people like you. We would be so grateful - and God would be so glorified - if you would partner with us financially, either as a regular giver or with a one-time donation. Here’s how you can:

ONLINE: (<2 minutes)

  1. Please visit

  2. At the front page, enter “Philpott Memorial Church” into the search bar under “Get Started: Find a Charity”

  3. Select the result that comes up (see photo) and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. When entering your amount, please be sure to select “Church Plant Project” from the drop-down menu of funds, so that your gift is designated to Benediction Church.

  5. Before completing your donation, be sure you’ve created an account with CanadaHelps so that come tax time, you can access your online receipts there.

  6. Thank you!

CHEQUES or CASH: (<5 minutes)

To make a cash donation, please make prior arrangements with a member of our Leadership Team. These can also be brought in person to Philpott Memorial Church (84 York Boulevard, Hamilton ON, L8R 1R6) and left with the secretary, Thelma Monteiro. Please never send cash through the mail.

Cheques payable to “Philpott Memorial Church” and designated “church plant” in the memo field will also be graciously accepted. The volunteers who serve on PMC’s finance team will ensure your donation gets to us.

Tax receipts for cheques and cash donations will be issued by PMC in the New Year.

PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBIT: (<10 minutes to set up)

To set up pre-authorized donations through the Finance Team of Philpott Memorial Church, please contact us so we can get the process started. Please have your banking info prepared, and let them know the amount of your donation, the frequency, and which day of the month you would like it debited.

TEXT 2 GIVE: (<1 minute)

We are in the process of establishing an account with Text2Give which will allow you to send donations via text message from your smart phone. A quick and simple one-time setup is required.
